Examples of recent collaborations our founder, Tamara Gatchell, has been involved with include:
Working with Bridge Innovate, Tamara developed and lead two foundational workshops on Design Thinking at the Tennessee Arts Commission Arts and Arts Education Conference.
Tamara regularly works with Bridge Innovate as a capability partner to develop research briefs, provide executive coaching, and facilitate accelerated design projects.
Cadence collaborated with Woodland Hill Montessori educators to run a summer design challenge using the Bright Spark toolkit. This experiential camp allowed students to use design thinking methods on a challenge: “How might we design a makerspace that would give students an opportunity for hands on fun, creation, collaboration, and learning?”
Leading an interactive workshop at the National Consortium for Creative Placemaking Leadership Summit entitled: Build Creative Placemaking Momentum, Excitement, and Engagement by using Small Scale Experiments to Test Ideas.
Tamara co-facilitated a retreat in Iceland with Mind-Body coach Linda Fennell and Iceland native Laufey Ása Bjarnadóttir. During the nature-based retreat, participants experienced the fierce beauty of the Icelandic countryside and connected with inner wisdom in order to take inspired action.
